Pork Adobo Recipe

Common recipe for Pork or chicken adobo are the following:
Iodized salt
1 table spoon vegetable oil
1-1/2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken thighs, trimmed and cut into 1-inch strips
Ground pepper or pepper corn
4 large cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
1/2 cup lower-sodium soy sauce
1 dried bay leaf
1 tsp. freshly cracked black peppercorns
